An Organization receives payment from their customer or makes payment to their vendor i.e., via cash, cheque or bank transfer etc. Bearbook will manage transaction with all payment mode individually.
Follow few simple step to add transaction.
- Go to Accounts → Cash & Bank.
- Click on Add Transaction or use shortcut key Alt + T.
- Or You can direct Create it from Quick Create that is visible at top right corner, click on plus icon and select Transaction
You can add transaction of three types:
- Receive
- Pay
- Transfer Fund
1. Receive
- In Receive, you can record transactions of received payments from your customers and Income.
- First select the Date, and Cash or Bank(Account in which payment will come in).
- Then select Transaction type: Invoice payment or Income.
- If you received Cheque then select Date of Cheque, write Cheque Number and Bank Name. If you received cash then skip this step.
- If you want to record Invoice Payment then select the Contact who is paying.
- After Selecting contact, you can see all unpaid invoices of that contact, select the invoice, for which you want to add transaction, then add amount and save.
- And If you want to record Income, select Income account.
- Then enter amount and Description then tap on save.
- The Transaction will be recorded for that contact.
2. Pay
- In Pay, you can record transactions of Bill payments and Expenses.
- First select the Date, then Account- Cash or Bank(Account in which payment will go).
- Then select Transaction type: Bill payment or Expense.
- If you want to record Bill Payment then select the Contact who is receiving.
- After Selecting Contact you can see all the unpaid Bills of that Contact, select the Bill, for which you want to add transaction and then amount and save.
- The Transaction will be recorded for that Contact.
- And If you want to record Expense, select expense account.
- Then enter amount and Description then tap on save.
- The Transaction will be recorded.
3. Transfer Fund
- Transfer fund helps you to transfer fund from one account to another account.(i.e.Transfer Money from bank to cash or one bank to another bank.)
- You can transfer fund by selecting from (from where, money will go out) and to account(where money will come in).
- After selecting both account enter the amount and tap on Save.
- The Fund will be transferred to the respective account.
- Now you can see these transactions in Cash & Bank Account. And you can also Print Cash and Bank Transactions by clicking on any transaction.

- And If you want to record Expense select account for recording expense.
- Then enter amount and Description then tap on save.
- The Transaction will be recorded.
3. Transfer

- You can transfer fund by selecting from (from where, money will go out) and to account(where money will come).
